Integrity
People are said to have integrity to the extent that they behave according to the values, beliefs and principles they claim to hold. The etymology of the word relates it to the Latin adjective integer (whole, complete). Integrity comprises the personal inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from honesty and consistent uprightness of character.
What does this mean for you, the client? This promise means that we will uphold our values and belief systems and be forthright and honest with you regarding the matter you seek counsel on, even when the answer may not be the easiest to give.
Lots of people say they have integrity, but integrity is what one exhibits when no one else is watching. Integrity to us means always doing the right thing for our clients, our families, and our profession, whether others are watching or not.
